Hallo, falls ihr es noch nicht mitbekommen habt, man kann zur Zeit den Speicherplatz bei Dropbox (glaub dazu brauch ich nichts mehr zu erzählen…) um 1 GB kostenlos erhöhen.
Einfach ein kleines Quiz beantworten, und bei jeder richtigen Antwort, mehr Speicherplatz einsammeln. Dauert nicht mal 10 Minuten!

Ich hab ja hier schon von Dropbox berichtet. Habe bei Caschy entdeckt, dass man als Student, einfach seinen Speicher verdoppeln kann und 500 MB fürs werben (statt den 250 MB) bekommt.
Das geht ganz einfach: man geht auf https://www.dropbox.com/edu und gibt seine Hochschul-Email Adresse ein und bestätigt diese!

Nutze schon einige Zeit lang Dropbox. Ein super Tool. Man bekommt kostenlosen Webspace und mit Hilfe der Software (aus als Portable verfügbar) wird ein Ordner (bzw. mit Selective Sync auch Ordner außerhalb des Dropbox Ordners) autmoatisch synchronisiert.
Habe mit der Portable Version (Link) neulich Probleme gehabt. Das Programm hat die ganze Zeit “Updgrading Dropbox” angezeigt, obwohl es nichts gemacht hat…
Jetzt habe ich in oben genannten Thread eine Lösung gefunden, wie man die Version aktualisieren kann:
Download the 0.8 version of this portable Dropbox build.
Start the Dropbox with the portable launcher and login your account and finish the configuration.
Then quit Dropbox before it downloads all your files.
Download the newest experimental build from here: http://forums.dropbox.com/topic.php?id=23426
Open the installer using 7zip and extract the files.
Copy the files “Dropbox.exe”, “msvcp71.dll”, “msvcr71.dll” and “Python25.dll” from the folder “$INSTDIR” to the folder “.config\update” of your portable Dropbox.
Start your portable Dropbox and your are able to use selective sync
